Towne Renovations is looking for an experienced Residential Renovation Painter to join our team full-time.
This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable working in occupied homes and active renovation sites. You will be responsible for completing professional-quality painting and finishing work across kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and full-home renovation projects.
We are looking for someone dependable who can work independently, communicate well with the project team, and leave each job site clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and other surfaces for painting
- Complete patching, sanding, caulking, and minor drywall repairs
- Apply primer, paint, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Complete detailed cutting, trim work, and touch-ups
- Protect cabinetry, flooring, countertops, furniture, and surrounding finishes
- Match existing colours and finishes when completing repairs
- Identify surface or workmanship concerns before painting begins
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Work alongside project coordinators, site supervisors, trades, and homeowners
- Complete work according to project schedules and company quality standards
- Maintain and properly care for painting tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional residential painting experience
- Renovation painting experience is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, primers, paints, and application methods
- Experience completing drywall repairs, patching, sanding, and caulking
- Ability to produce clean lines and consistent, professional finishes
- Comfortable working in occupied homes
- Able to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Able to lift materials, use ladders, and perform physical work throughout the day
