Job Summary:
As a Hostess and Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth delivery of food orders to our hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Deliver food orders to tables in a timely and efficient manner
- Assist with other front-of-house tasks, such as answering phone inquiries and managing reservations
- Support back-of-house operations as needed, including food preparation and stocking
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Host or Food Runner in a hospitality or food service environment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm and friendly welcome
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position that requires morning shifts during the week and on weekends. The work involves physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying items, and navigating busy hotel and restaurant spaces.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18 per hour, as well as a provided accommodation and a meal each shift.
