Summit Door Solutions is a growing commercial door and security company specializing in high-quality service for industrial and commercial properties across Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Commercial Door Hardware Technician to join our team.
This role is ideal for a dependable, mechanically skilled technician who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional, safety-focused company.
What You’ll Do
- Install, service, and repair commercial door hardware and assemblies
- Work on doors, frames, automatic operators, panic hardware, locks, and related components
- Diagnose issues and provide effective solutions
- Complete service calls and installations at commercial and industrial sites
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, project managers, and customers
- Maintain accurate job documentation
- Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driver’s abstract
- Clean criminal record
- Previous experience in commercial door hardware, locksmithing, or related trades
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional attitude with customers and team members
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and working on job sites
