JOB SUMMARY
The Service Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, repair and testing of various production testing equipment including, but not limited to: low and high stage vessels, flare stacks, ESDs, line heaters and vaporizers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take reasonable care to protect his/her health and safety and that of other workers by following Tara Energy’s safety policies & procedures, as well as government and industry regulations.
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing of equipment at Tara Energy facilities and client locations.
- Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and professional standards that apply to the job.
- Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
- Service TARA equipment, including but not limited to taking apart inspecting/repairing various components grinding, sanding, painting, and other tasks.
- Travel to job sites and adhere to all site safety and performance requirements.
- Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
- Participating in risk assessments as part of daily operations including but not limited to working safely around industrial machinery, working from heights, in confined spaces and possible adverse weather conditions
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in an oilfield services based shop/field environment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with flow testing vessels, sparge pumps and flare stacks is an asset for this role.
· Current and valid safety tickets – H2S, First Aid and CSO

Pay: $22.00-$49.90 per hour
