My client is a Building Services Engineering Design firm, very well established and able to provide a lot of support and career growth.
They are looking for two people; a Mechanical Project Managers and or Mechanical Design Engineers.
The speed of your career growth will depend on the experience/level you start at.
Education: Engineering Degree or Diploma in Mechanical building services or similar
Responsibilities:
- Complete HVAC and plumbing designs on a variety of projects
- Perform accurate detailed site surveys
- Perform site inspections and accurate field reviews
- Eventually lead design meetings, architects, consultants and clients and communicate effectively
- Make presentations and lead educational seminars and conferences
Requirements:
- 5+ years of design experience in HVAC, plumbing systems for commercial and light industrial projects
- Excellent knowledge of the BC Building code, plumbing code and all other applicable codes needed to complete the design (ASPE, ASHRAE, etc.)
- Ability to read architectural, structural, electrical drawings
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both inside and outside the office
