Framer/Carpenter
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Framer/Carpenter to become part of our growing construction team. This role provides the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial builds, where your craftsmanship and technical skills will play a key role in delivering high-quality structures. You will be involved in all stages of construction, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency while contributing to a productive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction plans to carry out framing and carpentry work accurately
- Build and assemble structural frameworks such as walls, floors, and roofs using appropriate tools and materials
- Perform concrete formwork and assist with pouring and finishing as required
- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and other machinery to transport materials on-site
- Install exterior and interior components including siding, doors, windows, and trim
- Repair and restore existing structures while maintaining structural integrity and visual consistency
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized worksite
Requirements
- Previous experience in carpentry or construction, with strong framing knowledge
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment
- Experience with concrete forming and finishing is an asset
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or similar equipment
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in various site conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Candidates with additional experience in siding, restoration work, or welding will be considered an asset. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication to safety will help you succeed in this role.
