Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing glass in various settings, ensuring safety, precision, and quality standards are met. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut glass panels accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Install glass in windows, doors, storefronts, and other architectural features using appropriate hand tools and techniques
- Ensure proper sealing and caulking to prevent leaks and improve insulation
- Read schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to determine installation requirements
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely project completion
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment
- Assist with restoration projects involving glass replacement or repair in existing structures
- Perform related tasks such as construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or carpentry as needed to support project goals
Requirements
- Proven experience with hand tools, caulking, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
- Knowledge of construction practices including restoration, carpentry, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installation tasks
- Prior experience with construction painting or restoration projects is desirable
- Valid <PERSON> (or relevant certification/license) is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $22.59-$41.07 per hour
