This role involves preparing and serving beverages, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. A background in food industry service, familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS, and strong time management skills are essential for success in this position. The Bartender will play a key role in enhancing guest experiences and maintaining the high, hospitable standards of our establishment.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly, inviting, and authentic Southern atmosphere.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering.
- Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Ensure all food safety and food handling protocols are followed diligently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, and utensils according to health standards.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate orders and improve service efficiency.
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing attentive service, including serving food when required.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred, especially within high-energy hospitality sectors.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally, warmly, and courteously.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding related legal requirements is a plus.
