Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues by interpreting schematics and technical manuals to identify faulty components or systems
- Perform repairs on various appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and HVAC units with precision and attention to detail
- Conduct mechanical inspections and assemble or disassemble appliance parts as needed for repair or replacement
- Utilize electrical experience to troubleshoot wiring, motors, switches, and control boards effectively
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
- Maintain accurate service records, including detailed reports of repairs performed and parts used
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Proven electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring diagrams and schematics
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to appliance assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience in appliance repair or related technical fields such as HVAC is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately
- Basic assembly skills for installing or replacing appliance components
- Prior experience with HVAC systems is a plus but not required
