As our company continues to grow and embrace new technology, we are looking for a Junior IT Analyst / Developer to join our team.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field. You will work closely with various departments to support business systems, develop internal tools, improve reporting processes, and help identify opportunities to leverage technology throughout the organization.
We are looking for someone who is curious, motivated, and eager to learn while contributing to meaningful projects that support our day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of internal software applications and business tools.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data analysis using Excel and SQL.
- Support and troubleshoot internal business systems and applications.
- Assist with database management, data validation, and data integrity initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Participate in software development projects using JavaScript and other modern technologies.
- Utilize GitHub for source control, collaboration, and project management.
- Document processes, procedures, and technical solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to staff when required.
- Research and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications Required:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with GitHub and version control concepts.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- One year of related experience in IT, software development, data analysis, or technical support.
- Experience working with business applications, databases, or reporting tools.
- Understanding of software development best practices.
- Exposure to automation, scripting, or web development projects.
