The Town of Bauline is seeking applications for the position of Part-Time Bookkeeper on a 6-month contract basis.
This position will support the financial operations of the Town and assist with maintaining accurate financial records
and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Payroll support and record keeping
- Preparing financial reports and spreadsheets
- Assisting with budget tracking and audit preparation
- Maintaining organized financial files and documentation
- Assisting with municipal financial reporting requirements
- Supporting internal financial controls and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration
- Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Experience working in a municipal or public sector environment would be considered an asset
