Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead our organization’s employee compensation and benefits programs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources, payroll systems, and data analysis, with a strong understanding of HRIS and ERP systems. This role requires excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a focus on employee relations to ensure competitive and compliant compensation strategies that support organizational goals. The Compensation and Benefits Manager will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining compensation structures and benefits packages that attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee comprehensive compensation and benefits programs aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage payroll processing using systems such as Workday, Dayforce, ADP, Ceridian, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, and Kronos.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to evaluate market trends, internal equity, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with HR teams to design competitive salary structures and incentive plans.
- Lead negotiations with vendors for benefits providers and manage vendor relationships to optimize service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Maintain accurate records within HRIS systems and ERP platforms; support system upgrades or implementations as needed.
- Provide training & development sessions for HR staff on payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and benefits administration.
- Support employee relations by communicating benefits policies clearly and addressing employee inquiries effectively.
- Monitor industry best practices to recommend improvements in compensation strategies.
Experience
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on compensation and benefits administration.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, Ceridian, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, UltiPro, Kronos, Salesforce integrations preferred.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret complex datasets related to employee compensation trends.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms including Workday, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, UltiPro; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability in vendor negotiations and managing employee relations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for training delivery and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in recruiting or training & development is a plus for understanding broader HR functions. Pay: $80,000.00-$143,438.74 per year
