We are looking to hire an experienced full-time IT Support & Field Services Agent for our Brampton, Ontario terminal. The IT Support & Field Services Agent is responsible for coordinating day-to-day IT operations, to make certain of a best practices approach. NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with a variety of transportation software, general IT support, and Microsoft Office.
Schedule: Monday to Friday10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day IT support for end users (hardware, software, network, printers)
- Manage and troubleshoot EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes and issues
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Monitor and troubleshoot SD-WAN connectivity and network performance
- Install, configure, and maintain printers, scanners, and related peripherals
- Support onboarding/offboarding (user setup, permissions, device provisioning)
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain documentation for IT systems and procedures
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed
- All other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or similar role
- Degree, Diploma, or equivalent verifiable working experience.
- Experience with EDI platforms (e.g., CBP, CBSA and customer applications)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions (e.g., VeloCloud, Fortinet, Cisco)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience troubleshooting printers and end-user devices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and handle several complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and problem analysis, decision making and resolution.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff.
