Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Sonographer to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Edmonton. This role is vital in supporting our diagnostic services and ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with our commitment to health excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results.
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Document findings clearly and thoroughly.
- Provide compassionate patient care and address patient concerns.
- Assist in training or mentoring junior staff if applicable.
- Stay updated on the latest ultrasound technology and techniques.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sonographer or ultrasound technologist.
- Certification from a recognized medical imaging board.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to ultrasound procedures.
- Prior experience in outpatient or clinical settings is preferred.
