Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) to provide court-mandated mental health counseling. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children and adolescents, to support their emotional and psychological well-being within a structured clinical setting. Duties
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to court-mandated clients, including children and adolescents.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and ongoing progress evaluations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, treatment progress, and case notes in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Collect data related to client outcomes for research purposes and program evaluation.
- Engage in case management activities, including scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and resource referrals.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and special education needs when working with pediatric populations or clients requiring specialized support.
- Adhere to confidentiality protocols and ethical guidelines while providing patient-centered care.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or in pediatric mental health settings is highly desirable.
- Experience in hospital or clinical environments involving patient care is advantageous.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, data collection, and analysis related to mental health is a plus.
- Background in case management, patient care coordination, or working within special education programs is beneficial.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to mental health treatment enhances communication with healthcare professionals.
- Previous experience working with diverse populations, including those requiring court-mandated counseling or specialized educational support, is preferred.
