We are seeking a compassionate and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic operations
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness treatments
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and empathetic approach
- Ability to listen actively and respond appropriately to client needs
- Prior experience in a therapeutic or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary
