Job Overview
As a Combo Vac Operator, you’ll be responsible for:
- Loading/unloading fluids and solids using vacuum and pressure equipment
- Operating high-pressure cleaning systems (steam/pressure wash)
- Perform hydro excavation duties
- Operating in a physically demanding, outdoor environment in all weather conditions
Requirements
Must Have:
- Class 1 or 3 Driver's License with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 3 years of oil & gas experience operating vacuum, combo-vac, or hydro-vac units
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand and bend for extended periods
- Willingness to adhere strictly to safe work procedures and PPE usage
- General mechanical aptitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pre-access drug, alcohol, and fitness testing required (Safety Sensitive Position)
- H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
Preferred Certifications (an asset, but not mandatory):
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- Fall Protection
- Confined Space Entry & Monitor
- Aerial/Elevated Work Platform
- Ground Disturbance
Employment Details
- Permanent Full-Time Employment
- Wage dependant based on experience
- Overtime paid after 8 hours/day or 44 hours/week (1.5x rate)

About You
The ideal candidate:
- Has a proven record of long-term employment in oilfield services
- Brings experience in chemical/industrial cleaning, fluid haul, or SAGD-related services
- Is reliable, safety-conscious, and mechanically inclined
- This is not a 9-5. Sites can be across the province, must be flexible with scheduling
- Can adapt to challenging work conditions and contribute to a team-focused environment

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
