Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists with patient setup, positioning, and equipment preparation for therapy sessions
- Support patients during therapeutic exercises by providing encouragement and ensuring proper technique
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and therapy equipment to uphold safety standards
- Document patient progress and session details accurately within electronic medical records systems
- Monitor patient safety during activities, reporting any concerns or adverse reactions promptly
- Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing therapy supplies
- Foster a positive, motivating atmosphere that encourages patient engagement and confidence
Requirements
- Will train suitable candidates.
- College certificate/diploma from a 1–2 year program preferred.
- Valid CPR and First Aid Certificates required.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Client-focused, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic setting with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Criminal record check required.
- English language proficiency required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
