Position Summary
The Heavy Duty Operator is responsible for supporting dough production across mixing and compounding operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires work to be performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent heavy lifting of up to 30 kg throughout the shift. Applicants must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Support dough production processes in accordance with production schedules, recipes, and work instructions
- Weigh, prepare, load, and move raw materials and dough as required
- Operate production equipment safely, perform basic pre-operation checks, and report abnormalities or equipment issues to supervisors
- Transfer, label, and supply dough to the next stage of production as required
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties during product changeovers and at the end of production
- Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and housekeeping procedures
Shift Details
AM Shift:
5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday
8-hour shift
PM Shift:
2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday
8-hour shift
Compensation & Benefits
- AM Shift: Starting wage: $20.40/hour
- PM Shift: Starting wage: $20.50/hour
- Full-time, permanent employment

Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 kg frequently throughout the shift
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in a production environment
- A personal vehicle is required for commuting (public transportation is not accessible near the site; carpooling may be available upon request)
- No prior experience required — full training will be provided
- Willingness to support both production and cleaning responsibilities
- Ability to follow safety, quality, and food safety procedures
