Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Live-in Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and management of residential or commercial properties. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring property safety, and handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience with property management systems, and excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities:
- General cleaning and maintenance of common areas
- Minor repairs and building upkeep
- Garbage and recycling management
- Tenant communication and support
- Coordinating with contractors when required
- Monitoring building security and safety
- Ability to identify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs, and/or Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks
- Strong organizational skills with keeping records
Requirements:
- Previous caretaker, maintenance, or property management experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented
- Knowledge of residential high-rise and apartment building operations
- Familiarity with building systems, including fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Understanding of applicable building codes, safety regulations, and strata housing requirements
