We are currently seeking professional, friendly and experienced Hygiene Coordinator to join our growing dental in Mississauga, ON.
Job Responsibilities:
Patient Outreach & Recall Management:
- Make approximately 100 outbound calls daily to patients regarding:
- Hygiene recall appointments
- Overdue preventive care visits
- Recare and periodontal maintenance scheduling
- Cancellation and short-notice openings
- Treatment follow-up communications
- Contact patients via phone, email, and text messaging platforms as appropriate.
- Maintain consistent follow-up schedules for unscheduled patients.
- Educate patients on the importance of preventive dental care and regular hygiene visits.
Scheduling & Appointment Optimization:
- Fill hygiene schedule gaps and reduce downtime across assigned practices.
- Manage short-notice cancellation lists and waitlists.
- Optimize hygiene schedules to achieve utilization and production goals.
- Coordinate appointments to maximize patient convenience and operational efficiency.
Patient Experience:
- Provide exceptional customer service during all patient interactions.
- Address patient inquiries regarding appointments, recalls, and preventive care recommendations.
- Maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality in all communications.
Administrative Duties:
- Update patient records accurately within practice management software.
- Generate and review recall and unscheduled treatment reports.
- Maintain compliance with privacy legislation and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with clinic teams to support patient flow and scheduling objectives.
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree/Diploma in dental office administration
- Minimum 6 months experience working in a dental office is required
