A day in the life

Prepare high-quality sushi, sashimi, and Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and consistency
- Manage your mise en place, including rice preparation, knife work, fish preparation, and garnishes
- Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure visually consistent, high-quality presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation at all times
- Monitor product freshness, manage inventory, and minimize waste
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to support smooth and efficient service
- Complete opening, closing, and shift duties with attention to detail
What we hope you'll bring to the team

Minimum 2 years of experience in a sushi kitchen or fast-paced culinary environment
- Strong knife skills and a solid foundation in sushi preparation techniques
- Confidence working independently with a high standard for quality and consistency
- Strong time management and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and pride in your craft
- A team-first mindset with a willingness to support others
