We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. As a Hairstylist, you will help clients look and feel their best, ensuring a positive experience during every visit.
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to each client’s preferences.
- Assist clients with consultations to determine their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools to ensure client safety.
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions efficiently.
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a friendly and relaxing atmosphere for all clients.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to upsell products naturally while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
- Previous experience in retail sales or front desk duties is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple clients efficiently.

Pay: $18.25-$48.28 per hour
