Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing installation and repair, with a focus on quality workmanship and safety. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring roofs are durable, weatherproof, and built to code. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or membrane roofing
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during roofing operations
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment as needed
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to roof framing or structural support when necessary
- Maintain a clean work site, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing applications
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Handyman experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility across various tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials as required
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
