We are seeking an EDI Manager to join a leading women’s apparel company in Montreal’s fashion industry. This is a full-time, permanent role.
Role Overview
The EDI Manager will oversee daily EDI operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders and data across key retail accounts. This role is responsible for maintaining order integrity, supporting a small operations team, and driving process improvements across EDI workflows, reporting, and order management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily EDI processing and ensure all transactions are accurate and on time
- Oversee end-to-end order flow from entry through shipment and delivery
- Manage key retail accounts, including order tracking, updates, and issue resolution
- Monitor EDI transmissions and ensure alignment with internal systems and forecasts
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI discrepancies and order issues quickly
- Review forecasts, allocations, and contract matching for accuracy
- Track open orders, shipments, and routing to ensure on-time delivery (MABD compliance)
- Coordinate with 3PL partners to resolve logistics and shipping issues
- Support sales and internal teams with reporting, updates, and allocation adjustments
- Review OTIF and performance metrics and recommend improvements
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
- 8- years of EDI experience in retail or apparel
- Strong Excel skills (advanced level)
- Experience with large retail accounts (Walmart US an asset)
- Retail Link and ERP system experience (Momentis an asset)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
