HSPP is currently seeking an experienced Lantek Programmer. You will be the Lantek champion in the company, programming laser cutting jobs using Lantek and teaching other users how to use the program. Also assist in developing ProNest tools and posts and highlighting differences between ProNest and Lantek.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Extensive experience with Lantek is required, at least three years of programming using Lantek for laser cutting steel sheets and plates.
- Operation of our current/future software packages including Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, ProNest, and custom ERP software, for the purposes of providing drawings, NC code, and other related support for our CNC machines and operators.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate programming
- Follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team
- Produce 2D AutoCAD and 3D SolidWorks and/or designs and drawings, layouts
- Measuring and inspecting profiled parts or customer samples in order to create an electronic file when one is not provided
- Reading and producing engineering drawings for the production of sales orders
- Assigning CNC code and material for nested patterns
- Sort shop orders into groups to maximize materials utilization and minimize machine setup time
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience working with Lantek software is required
- 5+ Years’ experience working with AutoCad & Solidworks
- Proficiency in Mastercam, is an asset
- Experience working in a Steel Manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills and quality assurance are required
- Position is located out of the Thorold facility
- Interviews will be held in our Mississauga facility, program test required
