We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creative designs, ensuring visual appeal
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
- Package baked goods for takeout or delivery while ensuring quality and presentation
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods, contributing to efficient service
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop new dessert ideas and improve existing recipes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; restaurant experience is preferred
- Skilled in cake decorating and food presentation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
