Overview

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked properly and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food industry standards for meal preparation and food safety is essential
- Experience with food handling, kitchen operations, and restaurant service will be advantageous
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and meal presentation skills are desirable
- Prior work in a fast-paced setting demonstrates ability to multitask effectively under pressure
