We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly environment with a focus on patient comfort and quality service. This office also focuses on Sleep dentistry and sedation services, 1 day a week.
The staff have all been with the practice for 30 years!
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist with patient examinations and prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental management software
- Support procedures and assist when necessary
- Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit and address any concerns or questions
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care
- Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- 8 Operatories and 2 Doctors
Experience
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting preferred, including familiarity with dental assisting duties
- Proficiency with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is desirable
- Experience with orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail

Pay: $53.00-$55.00 per hour
