Diagonal Living Inc. is building a premium small-space furniture brand focused on smart, space-saving solutions for modern homes, condos, guest rooms, and urban living. Our products include all-wood CabinetBeds, wallbeds, and multifunctional furniture designed to help customers live better in smaller spaces.
We work through a growing network of approved dealers across Canada and the United States. Our goal is to support retailers with strong products, marketing, training, and dealer relationships.
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and sales-driven Inside Sales Representative who can help us grow our dealer network, follow up with leads, support existing customers, and help turn opportunities into orders.
Primary Function
Are you confident on the phone? Do you enjoy building relationships, following up, and closing sales? Are you organized, professional, and comfortable working with furniture retailers, designers, and business owners?
As an Inside Sales Representative at Diagonal Living Inc., you will play a key role in growing our B2B dealer network and supporting existing dealers. You will be responsible for contacting prospects, following up with leads, providing product information, helping prepare quotes, supporting customer service, and moving opportunities through the sales process.
This is a sales-focused, relationship-driven role. Your ability to communicate clearly, follow up consistently, understand customer needs, and ask for the sale will directly contribute to your success.
We will provide product training, sales tools, scripts, and support. Your job is to use those tools daily with discipline and energy.
Specific Duties
- Contact new prospective furniture dealers, retailers, designers, and commercial accounts.
- Follow up with existing dealers to generate repeat orders.
- Make daily outbound sales calls and follow-up calls.
- Respond to inbound customer and dealer inquiries.
- Provide product information on CabinetBeds, wallbeds, finishes, dimensions, pricing, availability, and shipping.
- Prepare quotes and ask for the order.
- Follow up on open quotes until the opportunity is closed, lost, or moved to a future follow-up date.
- Help maintain accurate customer records in the CRM.
- Track calls, leads, quotes, orders, and follow-up activity.
- Support dealer onboarding, product training, and display program communication.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding inventory, order status, shipping, customer issues, and sales opportunities.
- Assist with customer service and after-sales support when needed.
- Help identify new markets, new dealer opportunities, and inactive accounts that can be reactivated.
- Work toward weekly and monthly sales targets.
Daily Expectations
- Minimum 20 sales calls per day.
- Prospect for new dealers every day.
- Follow up on active quotes and warm leads daily.
- Keep CRM notes accurate and up to date.
- Report daily activity, opportunities, and management challenges.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year of sales, customer service, account management, or inside sales experience preferred.
- Experience in furniture, home furnishings, mattresses, home improvement, wholesale, or B2B sales is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls.
- Able to build relationships with business owners, buyers, and store managers.
- Confidently asking for the sale.
- Organized and able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and basic sales tools.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated.
- Able to work in a target-driven sales environment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation
Base salary plus performance-based commission/bonus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
