Job Opportunity: Sales and Account Representative
POSITION TYPE: Permanent, Full Time
SUPERVISOR: General Manager
POSITION LOCATION: Prince Albert Beverages
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the General Manager of PBD, the Sales and Account Representative will be primarily responsible for the current client accounts and is responsible for client satisfaction. The Sales and Account Representative is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the Sales and Account Representative will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.
- Review all major deliverables (i.e. services/product, prices/fees, needs/space/promotions.) to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.
- Merchandising and execution of product.
- Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the General Manager of any problems that may arise.
- Conduct Rate reviews/Billing disputes and credits with strategic customers upon requests
- Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client.
- Approves Change Orders and invoices, and is responsible for payment collections.
- Conducts reviews on accounts on regular basis to evaluate current client’s needs, usage, assistance requirements.
- Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable.
- Communicates the client's goals and represent the client's interests to the General Manager.
- Retain accounts through the development of strong relationships with key decisions makers and users within an organization.
- Understanding of company capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client.
- Reports to the General Manager, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Professional Competencies:
· Must be customer service oriented
· Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships
· Ability to work independently in a high paced setting
· Flexible, adaptable, with the ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
· Willing to work with minimal supervision
· Must be punctual and present oneself in a professional, presentable manner at all times
· The ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions
· Cross cultural awareness
· Maintains a high level of confidentiality in working with sensitive information
Knowledge and Technical Skills:
· Excellent interpersonal skills, basic mathematical skills, word processing skills
· Knowledge of Coca Cola and its products
· Working knowledge of Accpac Accounting Software
Education and work experience:
- High School Graduate or an equivalent
- Supplemental administrative/financial coursework
- Minimum 3 years Account/project management experience
- Minimum of 1 year administrative experience with computer systems
