Job Description
WHOLESALE TRAILERS & MARINE is a fast paced trailer & marine dealer. A marine technician certificate and experience with boats is a definite asset, but not necessarily required. First and foremost we’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, marine experience and positive attitude.
Marine Techs duties include but are not limited to:
- Doing pre-delivery inspections on boats before they are delivered to customers
- Installing outboard motors on boats
- Following manufacturer guides to repair motors
- Installing boat upgrades such as trolling motors, fish finders, and various electronics
- Towing boats in and out of our shop with a forklift (willingness to learn how to drive a forklift or experience is an asset)
- Putting boats together as they arrive from the manufacturers (installing windshields etc)
- Cutting boats out of shrink-wrap without damaging the boats
- Various shop duties as required
