Mechanical Piping Draftsmen Designer
We are a successful construction and design-build engineering firm entering its 34th year of operations, with over 60 employees in the field. As we continue to grow our operations in Alberta, we are currently seeking a Mechanical Piping Draftsmen Designer to join our skilled and safety-focused team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain 3D piping models and 2D drawings using AutoCAD Plant 3D (or equivalent software).
- Create general arrangement, isometric, and spool drawings for fabrication and installation.
- Work closely with the design lead, project managers, and engineers to create, draft and ensure design accuracy and constructibility.
- Review vendor drawings and integrate equipment data into plant layouts.
- Support site verification, field measurements, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering Design & Drafting Technology.
- 3+ years of experience working in the Western Canada market.
- Strong working knowledge of ASME/ANSI B31.3 (Process Piping Code) and CSA Piping Standards.
- Proficient with 2D AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D AutoCAD, Acorn
- Proficient with MS Applications (Excel, Word).
- Experience generating piping isometrics, fabrication drawings, piping layout and P&ID’s.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in oil and gas and/or manufacturing industry an asset.
