Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable General Laborer - Construction workers to work with our clients in Winnipeg and the surrounding area. Duties
- Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, moving and relocating materials, and organizing materials
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools safely around the job site
- Support skilled tradespeople by providing necessary tools and supplies promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations
- Perform basic demolition tasks as directed, including removing old fixtures or structures
- Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision to assist with construction activities
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to ensure project specifications are met efficiently
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or general labor roles is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various job site requirements
- Willing to work indoors and outdoors
