Job Overview: Norco Modular is looking for a skilled and dedicated Framer at our Aldergrove factory. The ideal candidates will have experience in wood framing, working in a fast paced environment where efficiently and precision are key. This role requires the ability to read and understand blueprints, measure, cut, and install framing components, and to frame a modular building to a high standard.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install dimensional lumber to create floor, wall and ceiling/roof systems.
- Assembly of floors, walls, joists and roofing.
- Sheathe interior and exterior wall and floor assemblies.
- Safely work from ladders and scaffolding.
- Operate pneumatic and power tools efficiently and safely.
- Install backing and preform other related tasks as required.
Experience/Requirements:
- Basic carpentry – Framing (joists, subfloor, sheathing, studding)
- Proficiency in the use of basic hand and power tools.
- Able to accurately read blueprints.
- Strong background in woodworking and understanding of schematics.

Norco’s work schedules:
- Day shift: 6am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift: 2:30pm – 1am, Monday to Thursday

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
