Job Overview: Norco Modular is looking for a skilled and dedicated Framer for modular buildings. The ideal candidates will be capable of framing a modular building to a high standard with the skills for everything listed below as Duties/Responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install dimensional lumber to create floor, wall and ceiling/roof systems.
- Assembly of floors, walls, joists and roofing.
- Sheathe interior and exterior wall and floor assemblies.
- Operate pneumatic and power tools efficiently and safely.
- Install backing and preform other related tasks as required.
Experience/Requirements:
- Wood Framing (joists, subfloors, sheathing, studding, walls, roofs, floors)
Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
Assets:
- Fall Protection
- Certifications in carpentry related fields
- First Aid
- Floor laying experience (lino, VC Tile, carpet tile, etc)
- T-bar (suspended ceiling systems) experience
Norco’s work schedules:
- Day shift: 6am – 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift: 2:30pm – 1am, Monday to Thursday
*NO WEEKEND WORK AT NORCO*
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
