Position Summary
Trio Medical Centre is seeking a professional, organized, and patient-focused Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our growing healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting physicians, patients, and clinic operations while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Manage physician schedules and appointment calendars.
- Register new patients and update patient demographic information.
- Scan, upload, and maintain patient records and documentation.
- Process referrals, requisitions, and incoming correspondence.
- Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.
- Assist with clinic administrative tasks and general office duties as required.
- Ensure waiting and reception areas remain organized and professional.
Software & Technical Requirements
- Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMRs), Microsoft Office, email, and online scheduling systems.
- Strong computer and data-entry skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Medical Office Administration diploma or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach.
Language Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) are mandatory.
- Additional languages are considered an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
