Overview
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our team, providing expert repair and maintenance services for a variety of household and commercial appliances. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve appliance issues efficiently. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs to ensure optimal appliance performance
- Install new appliances following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems and improve repair processes
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- Mechanical knowledge related to appliance components and systems
- Prior experience in appliance repair or related technical field preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Knowledge of HVAC systems or assembly work is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for travel between service locations
