Job Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Forklift Operators for a facility in the Elora region. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Dockstocker, Reach, and/or Walkie equipment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklift equipment including Reach, Dockstocker, and Walkie
- Load and unload shipments efficiently and accurately
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting inbound and outbound goods
- Move, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements & Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience
- Valid forklift license (Reach and Dock stocker (or) Reach and Walkie)
- Experience with Raymond equipment preferred
- Hands-on experience with RF scanners and WMS systems
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, order picking)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Elora
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to $22.15 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
