Welcome to Performance Recovery Therapy Inc., where we blend performance, recovery, and therapy to optimize our clients' well-being. Our East York clinic is equipped with a gym/rehab space, multiple treatment rooms, an infrared sauna, full-body red light therapy, and Normatec compression boots. We are a true one-stop center for optimizing performance for everyone from elite athletes to soccer moms and everyone in between. We're also located inside the same building as Resilience Fitness, a large fitness facility, giving us a steady stream of referrals from an active, athletic population.

This opportunity includes a strong mentorship component, with bi-weekly rounds designed to help our practitioners learn from us as well as from each other.
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Registered Massage Therapist to join our East York team and provide exceptional care to our existing clients. We have a large base of clients actively seeking massage therapy services, so the successful candidate can expect a busy caseload. The ideal candidate has a passion for helping people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a variety of clients while functioning cohesively as part of our mutli-disciplinary team.
The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing therapeutic massage treatments, assessing clients' needs, and recommending appropriate massage techniques, while ensuring all safety protocols are followed and the treatment room is kept clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Perform massage treatments to clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assess clients' medical histories and conditions to determine appropriate massage techniques and make referrals if medically necessary
- Educate clients on proper stretching, strengthening, and relaxation techniques
- Provide advice on lifestyle changes to improve overall health and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of client treatments
