Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, construction, and appliance repair, with the ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems efficiently.
Duties
- Install HVAC systems, including ductwork, thermostats, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and technical specifications
- Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate installation
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in plumbing, welding, boiler systems, or appliance repair preferred
- Familiarity with schematics and blueprints for system installation
- Construction or mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC systems and construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
