We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality workmanship on all automotive services.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, suspension work, engine work/replacement and transmission replacement.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations.
- Work with automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting wiring and electronic components.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, transmissions, and engines as needed.
- Interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing complex mechanical problems.
- Ensure proper alignment of vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required. (310s)
- Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and software.
- Ability to perform auto estimating for repair costs accurately.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial for certain repairs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
