POSITION SUMMARY:
Truck Trailer Service Technician
TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing
- Minor, major and running repairs on all trailers; electrical systems, landing gear assemblies and trailer frames, hitching/coupling systems, trailer bodies, suspension systems, tires, wheels, hubs, axles, air and auxiliary systems, braking systems
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufactures performance specifications
- Preventative maintenance of tools and equipment
- Complete accurately and legibly all required documentation
- Must contribute to the maintenance of a clean, safe and environmentally sound facility
- Must have your own tools and safety boots
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize on a daily basis while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Perform any other duties as assigned by licensed mechanics
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Valid G class license – clean drivers abstract must be provided
- Must be self motivated and flexible to take on any task that may arise
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to support hours of operation
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Great team player
