Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Truss Builder / Production Laborer to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling and constructing roof trusses and related components in a fast-paced, industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with various tools and equipment used in construction and manufacturing settings. Duties
- Assemble roof trusses and structural components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions to ensure accurate assembly
- Use machining tools to cut, shape, and prepare materials for assembly
- Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Follow safety protocols at all times during operation of machinery and handling of materials
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining tools
- Ability to operate forklift and heavy equipment safely (training provided if necessary)
- Familiarity with assembly processes and use of hand tools for construction tasks
- Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor as needed
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation or manufacturing is desirable but not mandatory
- Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance in all tasks

Pay: $17.50-$22.00 per hour
