Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer and or block wall installer to join our retaining wall team. This role involves assisting with various projects, supporting installations, and ensuring the all preparation is complete. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn new skills in a busy environment. Prior experience with retaining walls, leveling, setting grades, labor-related tasks and tools is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set across multiple aspects of hardscaping and retaining wall projects from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, installation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials. Dismantle and installation.
- Support such as digging, moving blocks, leveling, manual labor, and others.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, or heavy equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprints (at times) and construction drawings to assist with project tasks.
- Perform tasks related to installations of block walls. Wheel borrowing, setting grades, moving blocks, compacting.
- Assist with demolition, setting lines, digging with shovels, moving block, tamping the ground.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency on site.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and site manners.
- Familiarity with what a retaining wall does.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to drive or get to various areas in the valley

Pay: $24.00-$33.96 per hour
