Job Summary
U-PAVE LTD. is currently hiring experienced paving crew members for the 2025 construction season throughout Edmonton and surrounding areas. We are seeking skilled, reliable, and motivated individuals to join our team in the following roles:
- Skid Steer Operators
- Roller Operators
- Rakers / Rackerman
- Paver & Screed Operators
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Air Brake endorsement considered an asset)
- Clean driver’s abstract required
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to work long hours, including overtime as required
- Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and demanding manual labor
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and within a team
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
Key Responsibilities
- Assist paving crews with equipment operation and general labour tasks
- Perform asphalt paving duties including raking, rolling, and material placement
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Participate in safety meetings and required training
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Schedule
- 8–12 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime and weekend work as required
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage: $25.00 – $40.00, based on experience
