Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Smiles Orthodontics. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both braces and Invisalign, with a minimum of two years working in orthodontic practices. ***NEW GRADS WELCOME***
Responsibilities
- Placement and removal of attachments and buttons
- Placement and removal of brackets and wires
- iTero scanning, intra-oral photos, and extra-oral photos
- Taking panoramic and ceph x-rays
- Maintaining dental charting records
- Inventory management of dental supplies
- Completing submissions to Invisalign for doctor to create Clin Check
Experience
- Certified Dental Assistant with Orthodontic certification required
- Prior experience working in an orthodontic practice is highly preferred
- New grads welcome! Hands-on training will be provided by an experienced clincal team
- Strong understanding of dental assisting best practices, infection control, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Schedule
- 2 days per week at Smiles Orthodontics (Tuesday & Thursday)
Pay: $36.00-$45.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
