Job Summary:
The position of Technician is responsible for on-site Installation and Repair of Automatic and Manual Pedestrian Entrance Systems (Swinging, Sliding, and Revolving Doors) in commercial, industrial, institutional and residential settings. Providing exemplary customer service is a high priority. The candidate will perform preventative maintenance, emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, as well as end-user assistance regarding the proper utilization of these systems.
Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service and high quality installation.
- Installation, Repair, and Troubleshooting of Automatic Pedestrian Entrances and related systems.
- Providing technical and user support by directing and assisting clients in the operation of the products thereby assuring their most efficient use.
- Updating the dispatcher on the status of all calls, completed or work-in-progress, on a per call basis.
- Responsible for the successful completion of a daily workload.
- Maintaining service vehicle stock of all parts, supplies, and equipment. Ensuring that all used stock is diligently recorded on work orders.
Requirements:
- Safety conscious and ability to work with minimal supervision

- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Comfortable working on construction sites and in varying weather conditions
- Experience and/or education in electronics, small motors, and construction installation is preferred
- Able to work on 24 hour-on-call rotation (including weekends and holidays)
- Must possess valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of criminal record check
