Position Overview
PLS Group of Companies is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator Assistant to join our growing team.
Reporting directly to the Production Coordinator, the successful candidate will assist with project administration, utility locate coordination, permit submissions, and data management to support daily operations and field production activities. Aswell, they will serve as backup to the Field Survey team and will be able to complete surveys using an ATV on an as-needed basis.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, responsible, able to work independently, and looking for long-term career growth within a fast-paced and expanding company. This role may also require operating a Survey ATV, so they must be physically fit and able to operate the surveying equipment.

Responsibilities
- Create and submit project permits and related documentation
- Arrange and coordinate utility locates
- Enter and maintain project-specific information within company databases and tracking systems
- Assist with scheduling and project coordination tasks
- Communicate with clients, internal departments, municipalities, and utility providers
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Support production and operations teams as required
- Work independently while contributing to overall team success
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Professional communication skills
- Experience with administrative coordination or construction/project administration is considered an asset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with land survey/ data collection would be considered an asset
