Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of food service operations. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Provide guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred; restaurant experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a professional, courteous attitude
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for billing, making change, and order accuracy
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes as needed
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
