Job Overview
We are seeking labourers for this summer. You absolutely must be able to wheelbarrow concrete, asphalt, gravel etc around job site. A 100lb plus lifting and hauling capability is mandatory. You will also be shoveling, raking and leveling these materials. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail and commitment . Previous experience is preferred but not required. However, preference will be given to experienced individuals. If you are not committed to showing up every day on time, when and where needed then please don't apply. The position is demanding, fast paced and challenging.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of work sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials as needed.
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- You must be reliable and trustworthy.
- Show up for work every day on time and ready for work.
- Must be physically able to push full wheelbarrow of concrete and asphalt.
- Hopefully some tool, machinery and mechanical abilities.
Please do not waste your time or mine if you are incapable of performing the heavy physically demanding work required.
